Anna joins us as a postdoc from the Jagiellonian University, Kraków, where she has recently completed her PhD with Prof. Jacek Dziarmaga.
With her expertise in numerical aspects of tensor networks and topological order, Anna is a great addition to our team. Her research interests lie in studying phases of matter with tensor networks to understand how the entanglement properties of quantum many-body systems give rise to physical phenomena. In particular, she is interested in the classification of topologically ordered phases with numerically optimized iPEPS (infinite Projected Entangled Pair States).
