Free Seminar Series on Tensor Networks

Every second Thursday, the European Tensor Network Seminar Series features a new free-to-watch online talk by a leading expert.

Quantum tensor networks allow to tackle the quantum many-body problem by unraveling the entanglement structure of correlated quantum systems. In order to further the development of novel numerical and analytical approaches and methods based on tensor networks, as well as their application in condensed matter, atomic physics, and beyond, the European Tensor Network supports the exchange of knowledge between researchers and students. Among their initiatives is a a yearly school and frequent online talks – the European Tensor Network Seminar Series.

The series is jointly organized by Frank Pollmann (Technical University of Munich), Frank Verstraete (Ghent University) and our research group leader Norbert Schuch and features biweekly talks by experts in the field. Recordings of all past talks can be found on the European Tensor Network’s YouTube Channel.
