The aim of the Erwin Schrödinger program is to give highly qualified postdocs the opportunity to pursue career-enhancing stays at internationally renowned research institutions, and to provide them with support after their return to Austria. Pepe, who has been a postdoc university assistant at our group since 2021, will now spend two years in Spain pursuing his FWF-funded project at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid & CSIC before rejoining us in Vienna.
We are really looking forward to having him back with us (also for occasional visits during the next two years) and wish him all the best for his stay and research in Spain.
