José joins us as a postdoc from the Faculty of Mathematical Science at the Universidad Complutense, Madrid, where he has completed his PhD in the "Mathematics and Quantum Information" group with Prof. David Perez García in 2019. His research interests lie in the study of strongly interacting systems using the framework of tensor networks. In particular, he is interested in the mathematical structure of tensor networks and the investigation of topological order, symmetries, and their interplay in correlated quantum matter.
