Welcome, Kevin Tam!

07.03.2023

We are very pleased to welcome Kevin Tam to the Quantum Information & Quantum Many-Body Physics group.

Kevin joins us as a new PhD student. Having completed his bachelor's in physics and mathematics at the University of Sydney in Australia, he went on to obtain his master's degree in physics under the supervision of Prof. Holger Gies at the University of Jena, Germany, as part of the Max Planck School of Photonics.

With his broad background in theoretical physics and in particular interacting quantum systems, Kevin will be a valuable addition to our group and contribute to our efforts to better understand the wide range of exotic phenomena observed in complex quantum systems, using a combination of  analytical and numerical tensor network methods.
