From September 11th to 15th, 2023, 70 students from all over the world got a first-hand introduction into the exciting field of tensor networks from a group of 9 world-leading researchers in the field. This encompassed in-depth introductory lectures into the core topics of the field as well as shorter introductions into recent research topics where tensor networks have demonstrated their power, ranging from quantum computing and condensed matter all the way to the simulation of turbulences and to quantum natural language processing.

The school, which was co-organized by our group leader Norbert Schuch, took place at the Cosener's House in Abingdon, UK, whose picturesque environment, right by the river Thames, stimulated a lively exchange both among the students and with the lecturers. We very much thank all lecturers and participants for this great experience, and hope they enjoyed it just as much as we did.
