While joining our team in Vienna, Refik is about to complete his PhD degree in physics at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg with a thesis on near-term algorithms for quantum simulation and state preparation under the supervision of Prof. Michael Hartmann.
With his expertise in Quantum Algorithms with a focus on quantum simulation with product formulas, as well as in entanglement theory, Refik will be a much-valued addition to our research group and contribute to our efforts as a member of the FWF (Austrian Science Fund) SFB BeyondC. We wish him a great time in our team!
